Epicor is used by virtually every employee at our company. Our production department uses it to control orders, inventory, and quotes. Our Purchasing department uses it to control purchase orders, and our Engineering department uses it to view parts, assemblies, and projects. Our manufacturing department also uses it to view inventory, current orders, and keep track of shop floor hours. Finance has a large presence as well, viewing the cost of all of the above-mentioned items.
- Connecting all features together and switching between screens.
- No glitches or unexpected crashes.
- Requires a very experience user/team to maintain.
- Some features are not flexible and require change of process to conform.
- Electronically captures product workflow much better.
- Bigger learning curve and process change.
