Overall Satisfaction with Eset Smart Security
Eset is being used across the whole organization. The challenge in my organization is the mixed PC and Mac environment. I needed a solution where I can manage the antivirus software on both machine types. I have had Eset for 3 years and it was the only solution that I found that offered this capability.
Pros
- Constant signature database updates.
- Central management of PC and Mac.
- Simple User Interface.
Cons
- Challenges when upgrading the on-premises central management system when Apple upgrades their OS.
- Outside of user error, Eset provides a level of security that allows me the time to focus on other issues that may occur on the network or on the endpoint itself.
- No antivirus will catch everything, but Eset continually updates their signatures to help me stay ahead of some of the security risks.
- The Central Management system allows me to quickly assess which endpoints on my network are safe and which are not.
