Overall Satisfaction with EverString

We use EverString to in our sales and marketing departments to provide the team with targeting new prospective accounts. It addresses the need for relevant account data for us to accurately target accounts based on certain client profile requirements. It helps us save time by only targeting those accounts that are truly a good fit for our product offerings.

  • Enhanced list feature.
  • Contact data is not always accurate.
  • Mass contact export is clunky (you need to type in each title instead of being able to pull by department).
At this time there is one admin user for the system that does mass searches based on target criteria then assigns users. A significant amount of training was needed to figure out the nuances of the contact data issues and to full "bake" a plan that would allow us to get the most out of the platform. The whole process was about a month.
We are very satisfied with their ability to identify best fit accounts and are also happy with how easily we can apply an exclusion list so we don't pull any current clients or competitors.
The enrichment feature is extremely helpful in seeing what data we have in our current CRM and where we can improve. It has been a great tool to get us to the next level in being able to target accounts quickly and accurately.
We have recently adopted an ABM strategy and EverString has helped us identify the types of accounts we need to target based on our specific ideal account profiles. We have been able to do a deeper dive into the accounts we want to go after and get a full view of what they are all about in one easy snap shot through EverString before going out and making the calls or sending the emails.
Although the platform is very helpful in identifying the correct accounts we have not been able to improve sales velocity because the sales team finds the contact data to be lacking which means they still need to do significant research outside of the platform to make sure they are reaching out to the correct contact.
EverString is currently the main source of leads for our team so it has greatly impacted the sales funnel. We are strictly focused on outbound leads at this time because we need to redo our website and have not been able to generate inbound leads because of this outdated website issue.
We currently use Zoom Info to search contact data once we find accounts through Everstring that we want to reach out to. We are finding that the contact data from Zoom Info is slightly better than that of Everstring however Everstring is getting better with their new verification processes that are currently in beta testing.

Everstring is better than Zoom Info because it has a very robust search functionality, enhanced searches, CEM enhancements and also can let you search on intent which has been the most useful to us.
If you are looking for accurate account data this is the right tool for your company. The downside is that the contact data is sourced by third parties and is not guaranteed so sales people still need to spend a significant amount of time going through the account then calling or cross referencing with LinkedIn to see who the correct contacts are. EverString has a program in beta that is helping to determine more accurate contact data ...launch date unknown however they will manually work that process with you on any list to make sure they give you the best contact data possible.
