Overall Satisfaction with ExakTime

It's used to track employees to ensure they're at the assigned job locations. ExakTime allows us to use accounting codes within our organization for ease of reporting. Reports that are generated are used for budgeting purposes. The reports also allow us to find the average time for particular tasks that have been assigned to the employees.

  • At times the end of day punch outs don't register until the employee punches in for the next shift
  • [ExakTime] has greatly reduced overtime due to real time view
  • Allows the secretary to post hours to the proper accounting code
  • Less paperwork and the ability to provide on the spot reports to my superiors
With geolocation ability, we can monitor all the employees that are out in the field and where they should be based on any assigned tasks given to them by the road crew foreman. We don't use the photo ID capture and we don't have any of the rugged time clocks mentioned.
At first, the new system was a challenge to use primarily for the mobile users in the field. There are still times though that if the proper WiFi or cell phone signal is weak, any entries made by the employee won't be registered in the system. But like all new processes, people learn to adapt.
ExakTime provides a great solution to timekeeping especially with the mobile app. The conference calls we had prior to purchase were constructive and very informative. ExakTime's sales team was more than willing to answer our questions. Our biggest concern was how were we going to migrate to a new platform that would be suitable with QuickBooks.

ExakTime is an excellent mobile tool for our employees working out in the field. This is extremely beneficial because even though tasks are assigned on a daily basis, ExakTime allows the flexibility to change job codes with ease on the mobile app. I'm not really sure that I've encountered a less appropriate scenario.
