Overall Satisfaction with Expensify

I've been using Expensify for six months or so at my current job. Definitely makes keeping track and inputting expenses easy. I can do it in real-time with minimal effort during the trip versus doing it all at the end, or the next week when back in the office. Definitely would recommend.

Pros

  • Inputting receipts while traveling via mobile app.
  • It notifies of when reimbursements will come.

Cons

  • Maybe allow more alternate e-mail addresses (for auto receipts, etc.)
  • It allows employees as well as the employer quick expense reimbursement
No training required. Anyone that can use a mobile phone and has used apps before will instinctively know how to use this system with minimal effort.
I've used "old school" clunky web based interfaces that do not work on mobile in the past. It used to be a painful struggle when back in the office when returning from a business trip and get everything in.

It works well when receipts are e-mailed or when paper copies exist. Just forward if electronic or scan with the mobile app/camera if paper.
