Overall Satisfaction with Expensify

Expensify is used to enter and track expenses on a per employee basis. In construction, there are always spontaneous expenses to keep the job running, which are to be logged and tracked for the accounting department. Expensify simplifies all of this with its platform interface, and automated tracking data, significantly helping with time and headaches for the end-user.

Pros

  • Scanning and entering information found on receipts
  • Keeping all expenses separate and itemized
  • Making the "audit" and verification process easy to navigate
  • Giving the accounting team and concise, coherent review and report of all end-users expenses.

Cons

  • There isn't much I would change with the Expensify app. I think it is a fantastic software.
  • The time saving alone I believe justifies the offset of costs that expensify incurs. What can normally take hours is completed in a manner of minutes.
As previously stated, the interface is obvious to use for non-tech savvy people. It is concise, easy to understand, easy to populate, and easy to submit. If there are questions on a certain expense, or clarifications needed, Expensify does a fantastic job on outlining what those clarifications may be. I truly like the usability.
I have not used any program that is similar to Expensify. Without a testing pool, it's impossible for me to compare with other products in the past. In previous roles, I submitted my expenses physically and manually, causing many headaches and errors. I do not see any need to improve on Expensify as it does a fantastic job for its function.

Tracking any and all expenses is clearly Expensify's main and best feature, which there isn't much to improve on.
