Overall Satisfaction with Expensify

We use Expensify to process expense reports by salespeople who are using their own credit cards to process expenses.

Pros

  • It's intuitive and fast.
  • The receipt scanning function saves a ton of time
  • The notifications of my report's progress through the approval steps is great

Cons

  • Occasionally it reads a receipt wrong, but thats very rare. Maybe 2x per year.
  • Faster expense report submission
  • Happier sales people
It's really easy to use. I never had any training and just figured it out in about ten minutes.

Expensify is so much easier and faster. It's intuitive in a way that the others aren't. I would get stuck on the other platforms and I'd have to google the problem to figure it out. Not intuitive. With Expensify I just have fewer challenges to begin with and when something's new to me, or I run into something I don't understand, it's super easy to figure out what to do.

I've never used anything as good as Expensify, as a user who submits reports, so it makes it way easier to get my reports in on time. I just take pix of my receipts as I pay for stuff, now that I am in the habit it's super easy and fast. And then organizing the receipts into another report is really easy if I forgot to start a new report before the last one was finished. I just sort the receipts by date and bulk-move them to a new report. I'm really happy. I feel sorry for my sales-friends who are on the legacy systems and tell them to ask for Expensify. If I ever move companies or they want me to use something else I'll probably be mad.

Using Expensify

10 - Sales is the only group that I know of that uses it.
1 - [...] is very patient with all our platform questions around other finance-related systems but I never had to ask her anything about Expensify. I'm thinking you need to be proficient with using a computer and basic internet skills.
  • Getting expenses in quickly and accurately
  • Keeping busy executives happy
If the choice were up to me, which it is not, I would absolutely stick with Expensify.
