Expensify is a de facto platform for managing expenses. It provides a clear overview of the report, expenses, and the approval flow. The easy usage ensures expenses are filed within the right periods, and a limited amount of time is spent on the activity. The approval log minimizes any issues around the approval, and avoids email-bouncing when questions occur.

- Have the user name the expense report instead of automatically give it a random letter-digit name
- Expenses are submitted in the right periods, proving more accurate period financial reporting
- Less time is spend on creating and submitting expense reports, increasing efficiency
- The approval log gives visibility on the status, no need to email-bounce for questions on status
Expensify is everything Chrome River was unfortunately was not. The navigation was not intuitive. The workflows were cumbersome. The time spent on adding expended and managing reports was much higher.
The general dissatisfaction was significant and a lot of frustration was shared, which led to a switch back to Expensify.
