Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting
I use EZ Texting in my small local business to promote sales. When we are having a slow day or week, I send out a text and within 30 minutes I have customers flooding in. It also helps us keep track of how many new people are coming for the first time.
Pros
- Very user friendly! I can send a text to 2000 people from my cell phone in less than 2 minutes.
- Reasonably priced compared to other companies.
- Great customer service and support. I had one-on-one assistance setting up my account and learning to use the program.
Cons
- There have been a few times where I was unable to load the site to send a text.
- I have customers numbers I've entered into my text list who still don't ever receive any of the texts.
- I would love for there to automatically be a signature instead of having to use my company name as the subject.
- It pays for itself within the first few texts.
- Saves a lot of time by not having to go on several social media sites.
- It's great in a pinch, for example: "Sorry, we will be closing early today due to weather conditions."
You need several contacts before you see an impact, it takes a while to collect a customer base. Not many people opt in and we have to offer to enter them to receive special promotions. However, once you finally get 1000+ contacts, you definitely see several responding and coming in to shop.
I love that I can log in from my smartphone to add numbers or send out a text so quickly. The scheduling feature is also great because I don't have to set an alarm or reminder to send one at a specific time. Instead, it's already set up and ready to go.
EZ Texting goes to all my customers as opposed to the social media accounts who only show your post to about a quarter of your followers.
