Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart

Right now, we primarily use it for our events and silent auctions. We were using it for P2P and generally year-round giving but have stepped away from those implementations.
  • Many products tied into single event/campaign
  • Ticketing and Seating management
  • Billing via long term contracts
  • Integrations
  • P2P connects to campaigns but is not event friendly (to view back to events or other fundraisers or to search others)
  • Increased types of fundraisers (especially online over COVID)
  • Helped us ticket events easily
  • Didn't serve us well when we tried to use as regular giving through out the year
We liked it for events but didn't need or want them for all the extra bells and whistles they wanted to throw in on the package. They offer a lot of different things compared to others but not every product is top-notch.
There was a learning curve but as long as you rake through each setting. Some settings were not where you'd think they should be. If you know CSS, you probably could start customizing a lot more.
Support was helpful but not always willing to think outside the box to problem solve.
Colors and banner graphics are customizable. However, a lot of fixed elements because it's not website type. Generally, an older web look.

Seating management was great for ticketed dinners. Also running an online silent auction worked very well. We also used silent auctions on this platform but in view online (served as a hybrid model).
