Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

Gong io is being used widely across the organization to review calls. It is a great record of what was said in a call, and we can use parts of calls to coach/train others.

Pros

  • It's pretty quick.
  • Easy to use!
  • Loads quickly.

Cons

  • Takes time for conversations to upload.
  • More stats/metrics.
  • Interface could use an update.
Talkdesk loads quicker but Gong's interface gives slightly more options. However, Talkdesk has a much better statistic and metric system, in my humble opinion. It's also easier to switch between clients and calls on Talkdesk, but not by much. The difference is slight, at best. Both have their advantages and both are fairly easy to use.

Would you buy Gong again?

Yes

I could see it being well used in areas like a call center, an outbound sales company, and really any kind of inbound or outbound call based organization. I could see it being valuable with nonprofit organizations that make a lot of calls as well.
