Gong.io is used for training, call listening, and fact finding across our organization. Our sales team uses it to listen and learn from their own calls, listen to top performers' calls, for managers to give feedback to their team, and to better understand the deal cycles our team is involved in.
- Makes pattern recognition easy (e.g., a salesperson speaks too much)
- Makes searching for information within calls easy (e.g., what is their budget again?)
- Makes learning extremely easy (you can listen to yours or anyone else's calls easily)
- Transcribed call scripts tend to take in a lot unnecessary verbal tics (that might just be me though)
- More closed deals
- Improved employee skills (for those brave enough to listen to their own calls)
- Greater insight into why deals are won and lost
I've used a few other softwares that help you record your calls, and Gong.io is better than them all by a mile. If Gong.io is a bazooka, they are all pocket knives.
