Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

Gong.io is used as a way for our customer facing teams to ensure that we don't miss anything shared by customers and as a platform to self-coach and get support from Leadership on areas of improvement. Additionally, it's a great way to share best practices with team mates on talk tracks/questions that are impactful for customers and to quickly receive feedback from teammates.

Pros

  • Call recording- seamlessly integrated with Zoom in the background
  • Transcribes calls- helpful feature when looking for a specific point of the call or in general
  • Allows for easy sharing of calls

Cons

  • When sharing a snippet of a call, this could be a more straightforward process (hard to skip ahead to the end of the snippet where you want to clip it)
  • Call recording
  • Call coaching (both with AI and through managers)
  • Call sharing
  • Overall very positive, but difficult to measure the ROI
I liked Gong.io better. More intuitive, cleaner UI, and more advanced functionality from an AI standpoint

Great for remote Sales teams, B2B sales with complex cycles. Maybe not so great for a Sales environment that's heavily in person and/or transactional
