Overall Satisfaction with Google Analytics 360 (formerly Google Analytics Premium)

We have been using Google analytics to track user behavior on our websites and also apps. Google Analytics data helps to understand the user behavior and other data like from which platform user reached to our website. This also helps our business to know from which advertisements we are getting the most lead and which leads are getting converted into customers. Google Analytics data helps to take future decisions on product marketing and even UX improvements.
  • Google Analytics 360 gives you premium tools to know your data well with greater insights on larger sets of data.
  • It gives access to tools like Big Query which helps you to query your analytics data using queries and generate custom reports.
  • You can also perform A/B testing and derive different hypothesis on the basis of data with Google Optimize
  • Although it's pretty easy to set up A/B testing, it's tricky to understand how Google Analytics declares a winner with its calculations.
  • Big Query is a powerful tool but all together requires an understanding of a different kind of query language that needs more documentation and tutorials to understand.
  • The in-depth analysis of user behavior can be more detailed as it is in some competitor's products.
  • Google Analytics insights and event tracking data are most crucial for us to understand user behavior.
  • Using Google tag manager to track events and other user behavior then sending it to analytics helps a lot in the creation of custom reports.
  • We are also using Google Data studio for different custom report generation and also to analyze Google Analytics data by connecting our backend data.
  • It's a great investment for us.
  • We have been using Google analytics for a long time and it's helping us to make better decisions in terms of UI and UX.
  • Not just UI and UX but also product decisions and insights about bounce rates, page views, sessions on our websites helped a lot to understand the end-user behavior.
Amplitude is an alternative for Google Analytics and we have implemented Amplitude also. We choose Google Analytics over Amplitude because of features like segmentation of users, creating cohort, seeing the user's behavior and journey. Amplitude has all of the data but it's not that good format to understand easily. Custom reporting and creating custom tables with different metrics is what we miss with Amplitude. The Big Query, Google Optimize, and other features. Both have a simple implementation but Google Analytics provides you multiple ways to integrate Analytics events in your site as well App.

If you are an enterprise with multiple websites and products and getting lots of data, Google Analytics Premium is well suited as you won't be getting the sampled data you get in normal Google Analytics. You will have a large set of tools that would help in performing different operations and generating reports on your data. These insights would help you to make better decisions about your product.
