Drive makes for instant, productive document collaboration
Overall Satisfaction with Google Drive
I use Google Drive for all client proposals, deliverable reviews, and project management. It is invaluable as a means to collaborate in real-time with team members and clients that are spread across the city or country.
Pros
- Ubiquity across devices - desktop, mobile, chromecast, Chromebook.
- Data is NEVER lost. EVER.
- Real-time collaboration and being able to see changes others have made. Very intuituve.
- Being able to tag users and send them comments in context and in real-time. I loath using desktop attachments.
Cons
- Object embedding. Being able to drop a spreadsheet into a document and having it update in real-time.
- Better help on spreadsheet functions (videos, better examples).
- More granular control over the look and feel of Google Forms.
- Hard to quantify
It is the most secure and its native app capabilities make Dropbox and Box pointless. MS is simply not in the cards ever again.
