Overall Satisfaction with Google Hangouts
Google Hangouts is used by my organization for communication between departments and people in the same department. It's used across the whole organization for the flexibility and easy to use mobile devices on a field trip, very often on geological surveys. The problems we address are the location of the surveys for geographical proposes, and the possible modification or increments of these surveys, after field confirmation. Within the office, our communications are around any geographical subject, working online or at the office.
- The communications online with other collaborators
- The possibility to make calls and conferences if needed
- Is a mail linked communications software
- The ability to keep track of the communications on the mail
- The flexibility of maintaining communications with mobile devices
- The ability to synchronize with other Google apps
- I like to send the actual image through the chat
- Gmail users are not familiar with this software
- Relation - phone number with Gmail user could be a next step for G-hangout
- The ability to complete our survey work on time
- The possibility to maintain communications with other collaborators
- The capacity of delivering a geographical work on time with our inner evaluation of the final work
- WhatsApp and Skype
I selected Google Hangout because we all use Google mail accounts so we are familiar with the Google environment and we know how to manage this software.There are two more reasons to select this software 1) the mail relation to keep track of the communications and 2) there's no need to use the phone number or open a new account of mail to ensure communications. Every communication is safe with online network providers.
