Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Google Hangouts is used across our entire organization. It is our go-to for quick communication and meetings. It has allowed us to better come together for small meetings, company-wide meetings, training, etc. It is a great tool and personally the best I've used compared to similar tools.

It allows for quick easy communication.
It allows for training and the ability to get details to a large group in a quick amount of time.
Always good connection and ability to screen share makes this tool a must have.

They need to do a better job about version compatibility. I had an issue where my coworker could not hear me in Hangouts due to him having a more up to date version of Hangouts than myself.

Return on Investment

It has allowed us to be more efficient with our time leading us to have more time in other areas to grow the business.

Likelihood to Recommend

I believe GoogleHhangouts is best for all types of organizations. I've found it effective in meetings of 2, 5, 10, or 100+. The ability to screen share allows for training. The chat feature in hangouts also allows for a more dynamic meeting. I can't see a scenario where I'd rather have a competitor's software.
