Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Google Tag Manager daily. I make sure this is installed on every website I work on so I can easily deploy tags and not have to rely on developer resources to get this done. By using GTM to install all my tracking tags it frees up space in the code of the site and we have seen an increase in site speed for both mobile and desktop.

Alternatives Considered

Tealium iQ Tag Management System

Google tag manager is free to use and is a Google product so it works seamlessly with any Google tool such as analytics or optimizes. I haven't found features that this tool is missing compared to the paid options available. I am able to do everything I need with GTM.

Usability

Google Tag Manager is easy to use and doesn't take long to learn. I have trained multiple people on how to use this and when I run into something I don't know how to do I can usually find a YouTube video with instructions on how to get it done.

Support Rating

I have not had to use support for Google Tag manager and so I cant give this an accurate rating.

Likelihood to Recommend

I recommend this to everyone who works in development or marketing. There are so many tools that require site tagging and tracking codes and this provides an environment to track all these things and easily add them or remove them from the site. It's also very easy to specify which pages you want tags to deploy on or in which scenarios.
