Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Webinar

We utilize GoToWebinar to host all of our external webinars. We also occasionally use it to set up meetings for customers. We use it for hosting the webinar, as well as recording and editing the webinar. We also integrate into Salesforce to track opportunities from the webinars, and send reminder emails through the platform.

Pros

  • Editing Recordings
  • Managing panelist permission sets
  • Allowing external speakers

Cons

  • Lack of camera functionality (unable to blur background without an add-on, for example)
  • Outdated look and feel - can be complicated for external presenters who've never used it before
  • Difficult to use control panel. Resizing and pop-outs don't function in a clean way.
  • Webinars drive higher conversion rates than any other channel we utilize
  • The recording and editing feature allows for recycling content to save valuable effort and time
  • The audience polling allows higher engagement rates across our webinars
The look/feel is pretty outdated, which can make it difficult to navigate, in particular if you're not already familiar with the platform. The resizing and dropdown of the control panel has small text and difficult to find buttons scattered throughout.

Yes

GoToWebinar works really well for hosting and recording webinars. Once you're able to navigate the (admittedly clunky) UX/UI, it's easy to host and record and edit the recording of your events. It's really easy to use with external speakers as well.
