Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
We use GoTo Meeting throughout our organization. We use it for virtual meetings and did so before the pandemic hit. Once the pandemic made in-person meetings more difficult, it became even more important to our organization. We used it for virtual studies, meetings, and planning sessions.
- It allows connections either by computer, phone, or smart device
- It has a useful chat feature
- It allows for many users to connect with HD video
- While it works with a non-downloaded web version, the web version is not as stable. GoTo Meeting should advise participants that downloading the app is best
- In large meetings, something like a "hand raising" feature (as in GoTo Webinar) would be helpful. That would allow the facilitator to know who wishes to speak
- Like any video conferencing software, it is somewhat dependent on user ability. Echoes can be a problem with certain audio hardware.
- Very positive return on investment.
- Zoom and Microsoft Teams
GoTo Meeting has more robust security features than Zoom. It also has a less steep learning curve than Microsoft Teams.
