Overall Satisfaction with GoToWebinar
We use GoToWebinar (and GoToMeeting) across our company to provide product demonstrations to end user prospects as well as partners. This allows us to reduce costs as we can provide this type of service remotely without having to physically visit the people we're presenting to.
Pros
- GoToWebinar is an excellent tool for "public" webinars, as you can create a series of events and provide potential clients with a registration link that allows them to view the available sessions and sign up for the one that's most convenient for them.
- The GoToWebinar client is extremely reliable and easy to use, which is important when working with external companies.
- GoToWebinar's built in communications make it easy to be sure our internal users are kept up to date on webinars we've got scheduled, and our attendees get registration and follow up info that they need (automatically).
Cons
- It would be very useful to be able to create unique registration links to allow us to identify where an attendee registered. We have multiple points/websites where people can sign up and it would be extremely valuable to know which one(s) are being used the most.
- The new Insights reporting is a great addition, but the general reporting mechanism is somewhat cumbersome. For example, it would be useful to be able to generate an attendee report for all sessions in a given timeframe rather than having to generate them one per session.
