Overall Satisfaction with GoToWebinar

There are a few things in the admin console that are a little clunky and not where you think they should be, but for the most part, the software itself is rather intuitive and straightforward. Even someone who is not tech savvy should not have a problem navigating and leveraging the different features GoToWebinar provides.
We offer free webinars to accountants (CPAs) and enrolled agents (EAs) who need to fulfill their annual credit hours for continuing professional education (CPE). We partner with a subject matter expert (SME) and have them present a timely tax topic as a means of finding new leads. We love the automated reminders so we can make sure that people remember the event and show up to it!

  • Provide a better NO DOWNLOAD solution with no lag.
  • Phone call-in system usually doesn't work the first time we call in. Have to dial in twice.
  • Would be nice to be able to embed a session and make it more public. Tailor to the trends of our day/time with LIVE broadcasts the are public and socially shareable. Think Periscope, YouTube LIVE, Facebook LIVE, etc.
We were already using GoToWevinar at our institution. I don't find it much more/less clunky and old school feeling than any other enterprise conferencing tool (i.e. WebEx). I like the modern look, feel, experience of BlueJeans and Zoom, but they are a bit less fully featured for specific use cases (esp. organized web events where you want a lot of control and collaboration).
It's great for offering presentations. Rather bulky for a simple F2F meeting that you want to have with a colleague... or a quick sales demo.
