Writing is still a very significant portion of communication in the organization and with customers.
We use Grammarly to improve all written communication (slack, documents, emails).
Quickly identify and correct typos or suggest more straightforward messages in shorter communication.
In a longer written format, ensure the tone is correct, the document has the proper clarity and is written according to the audience that will review it

Pros

Easily accessible in all places where one writes (websites, slack, documents)
Precise analysis and suggestions for improvements
Good AI features to increase the impact of messages

Cons

In longer documents Grammarly sometimes struggles and the review with Grammarly can take longer
The suggestions in the App and in the chrome extension don't always align and are sometimes contradictory
The notification for fixing passive voice could be better and have a suggestion immediately

The Chrome extension is excellent.
The web app is even, with an easy way to adapt the goal of your documents. Its change notifications are clear, and with a short learning curve, you can start moving through the review much quicker. With time and using Grammarly, your writing skills will also improve, and the number of corrections proposed will reduce over time.

It is easy to use, not very intrusive, and with a short learning curve. If you make it part of your setup, your writing skills will improve; it helps and almost removes the possibility of making spelling and blatant grammar mistakes. When English is not your first language, it is a must. If you want to grow in an organization and be known for the quality of your written communication, Grammarly should be in your toolset.
