Overall Satisfaction with Greenhouse
I use Greenhouse as a hiring manager to review Candidates' resumes, provide feedback to HR, and monitor the progress of the different stages of where a candidate may be in the screening and interview process. It helps centralize all applications to each position I'm hiring for and makes it easy to view all candidates in a fast and sequential way.
- Notifications when an action is required
- Nice dashboard to see the volume of candidates and indicates if an application has been submitted for a period of time and not reviewed
- Centralizes interview/candidate feedback through the use of scorecards where other stakeholders in the hiring process can view
- Sometimes it's necessary to look up candidates after they have been moved out of my dashboard. I find it hard to easily search for those older submissions, but that may be more of a training issue internally than an area of improvement.
- I am not leveraging all features that Greenhouse offers, so I can't speak to other specific areas of improvement from the Hiring Manager side. It handles what I need in order to vet and keep the status of candidates.
- Centralized repository for applications and resumes - keeps it all out of email
- Dashboard for easy tracking of new applications to review, what candidates need a decision, and alerts for any scorecards that may be due
- Ability to tag other stakeholders in the comments section for each candidate. I can easily let the recruiter know which candidates I am interested in quickly.
- Streamlines review process of candidate applications and resumes
- Gives visibility into candidates that apply for different positions all at one time - quickly tells me without looking at their resume that likely they don't have the expertise I'm looking for
- We have the ability to track employee referrals using special links for each job posting in email or our social networks
