Overall Satisfaction with Groove

In sales, one of the hardest things to determine is if your outreach via email is getting thru to anyone. Groove solves that issue by notifying the sender when the recipient opens your email. Additionally, Groove will show number of times the email is opened which can provide valuable insight as to the interest level regarding the subject matter of your email. Groove ALSO shows if your original send is opened by others, indicating that it was forwarded to other individuals/decision makers within the company to review.

Pros

  • Groove lets you know if your email has been opened giving the sender confidence in a follow up email
  • Groove shows the number of times your email is opened-showing potential interest
  • Groove enables the EASY use of templates to maximize your sales time

Cons

  • Sometimes the send process takes a bit longer and can sometimes stick and not send
  • Once in a while, an error will occur without any adequate explanation
  • When sender opens an email they sent - Groove will notify you that "someone" just opened your email. If you are not aware of this--it can be confusing.

  • Groove has definitely improved time-vampires like manually logging every email - Groove does this for you!
  • Groove gives you back time that can be refocused on creating new business. New business leads to overall growth and health of your company and career. In the time I've used Groove, my billing has doubled!
  • Firing email after email into the void is no longer necessary. Groove will tell you if ANY of your outreach is being received giving you back the time you spend emailing uninterested or the wrong contact/decision maker.
Like with anything new, it takes training and time spent with all the functionalities to become super proficient. I believe I have just scratched the surface with Groove and am excited to use it more to produce the results that I need. Groove is designed to be your little helper. But all the capabilities it provides means you have to dedicate time to learn how to access and use them properly.

Knowing where to spend your energy and especially time in a sales world where "time is money" is of great importance. Groove and its incredible insight of each email sent, frees up your time to focus on more likely prospects. While due diligence still needs to be done with your prospecting, using Groove keeps you from "barking up the wrong tree" for longer than needed. The automatic logging of your outbound prospecting also saves a TON of time. Productivity has jumped for me and for the other users of Groove within our organization.
