Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

We have employees that work remotely across the United States, so Gusto helps alleviate that burden with direct deposits, requesting PTO, and other features available to us as employees. Gusto allows for employees to edit their details on their own at any point without needing to talk to HR or go through a lengthy process which is extremely convenient for everyone.

Pros

  • Easy PTO Requesting
  • Simple Tax Updating Process
  • Links to Google Calendar so we can always see who is on PTO at our company.

Cons

  • Having a Volunteer PTO option would be nice.

  • Alleviated the burden on our HR department of writing checks
  • Streamlined payments across the company

Slack, Canto, Guideline
Our company has a team of less than 20 people, so that's my scope of reference, but it has been extremely easy to use and implement for both our salaried and hourly employees. Given what I know about the platform, I think it would also be well-suited for large teams of varying technical ability. The interface is really user friendly.
