Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

I work at an animal shelter, we used to use ADP. With Gusto we can clock in on our phones as soon as we show up to work because it can tell our location. I love that I don't have to ask my boss to fix my time card, it allows me to do it myself and put in a note as to why and my boss can approve it I also love that if I take paperwork home I can clock in from home and don't have to put in a request to someone else to get paid for it

Pros

  • Requests for time off are easy
  • Adding extra overtime from home simple
  • Checking my own time card every week and making sure I approve it first makes me feel secure
  • I'm an employee, not a boss/owner
It's simply very easy to use. I can view my paid time off very easily, pull up any pay stubs, request time off and see how many hours I've accumulated during the work week with ease. I can adjust my time on my own if I forgot to clock in or out and don't need to fill out any silly forms to give to management
ADP did not allow me to do anything that Gusto allows me to do. All I could do was view pay stubs and time and print past records. With Gusto I am in charge of keeping track of my own time and pay so it makes me feel more like I'm in control of things.

Yes

My husband has to hand in a written time sheet with descriptions of what he did every day during work. I want to recommend Gusto to them so he could have the freedom I enjoy from Gusto where he could enter the same information and not have to hand it in every Monday in person.
