Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

Gusto is the one-stop shop for timekeeping, benefits management, and HR directory. As an end user, I use Gusto to log and record hours, set up payment information for my salary, and as a launching point to access varying employee benefits such as 401k, health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as critical companywide documents such as employee handbooks.

Pros

  • Easy to use interface
  • Excellent customer and product support
  • Mobile app
  • Timekeeping

Cons

  • The benefits administration being a seperate login and website can feel cumbersome
  • sometimes web pages will load and then reset
  • Time saving on hours tracking.
Gusto is modern, straightforward, and easily accessible via desktop and mobile. The small details, such as the pig mascot with seasonal costumes, make the software feel fun and much more exciting than typical HR software. As an end-user employee, Gusto is efficient in letting me use the tool for anything I may need to do, such as changing personal information, accessing my benefits, viewing and requesting PTO, and entering hours worked.

Gusto is a helpful service for early-stage or startup organizations. The UI is modern and light, leading to a pleasant user experience. For organizations without a dedicated HR department or where one staff member may be responsible for the HR suite, Gusto is a wonderful tool to help set up essential benefits and timekeeping services.
