Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

We use Gusto for payroll, time tracking, time off/holidays, and documents related to employment. Gusto makes it possible to consolidate all of these in one place, which is important for a small organization without an HR department.

Pros

  • Payroll- including time stubs
  • Time tracking by project
  • Having one place for employment documents, such as hiring paperwork

Cons

  • Slow response time - sometimes the server seems to go down
  • Unexplained errors for hours at a time, when certain pages won't load correctly
  • It allows us to save money on HR staff (Gusto can do most of what a person can)
For the reasons I already described. Useful features and benefits, but the the issues with it not loading properly are problematic.

Gusto is generally very useful and meets my needs, but there are times when it is unreliable. This can be frustrating, especially because it makes it hard to keep timesheets up to date on a daily basis.
