Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Yes, it is used in all departments to help with the hiring of new employees. Our company hires thousands of field employees every year and Hire Vue is a great tool when a face to face interview is not possible. It is easy to use and very user friendly. The customer service of Hire Vue is also excellent.

Alternatives Considered

We like to use Skype often when interviewing candidate, but that can be time consuming. Hire Vue is so convenient and easy to use. I see no reason why we would stop using it. It gives the candidate the option to do an interview when it fits their schedule, which is great.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is best used when hiring a large amount of candidates. I will send a Hire Vue request to 50 candidate and it tells me how interested they are by how quickly they complete it. It is also best used when hiring remote. Sometimes the Hire Vue experience for the candidate can be a bit awkward, face to face is great when applicable.

Are you talking about candidate interviews? If so, yes, we do require high speed internet in order to view interviews and use our tool. There is a lot of information that is inside HireVue that requires a good web connection. We recommend always using an Ethernet cable as the most stable web connection solution. This goes for downloading the videos as well - high speed internet for downloading anything is highly recommended. We understand that some candidates may not be comfortable with webcam interviews. That's why we offer unlimited practice questions before each On Demand interview so they can be more comfortable and confident!
