Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite

Hootsuite is being used by the social media team to facilitate managing posting content and scheduling posts on seven channels in a time-efficient fashion.
  • The dashboard with a preview of the final post and warnings about image size minimize trial and error.
  • Scheduling posts to multiple channels at one time is convenient.
  • I find it easier to monitor and reply to engagement on each individual platform rather than in the dashboard.
  • If I need to edit a post after it has appeared, that must be done on the individual platform.
  • It has allowed us to blast out content.
  • We were able to have teamwork using this tool.
We were happy with this product and did not extensively compare it in the field to competitors and are not looking for other solutions although we do hear from time to time of what other solutions other pros have tried or are exploring.
The interface is pretty intuitive and we have seldom if ever, needed to access support, and when we did, it was responsive and sufficient.

It is well-suited to announcements, especially when a single graphic will work across platforms in terms of dimensions. It is less well-suited for posts in which more wording would be helpful since those could be done directly on Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook (Twitter has a character limit).
