Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite

Formerly, as the digital marketing creator across our multiple businesses, I would have to login to various accounts and manually post. This got more and more burdensome as the businesses expanded, as have my duties. This automated an important part of my job, leaving me more time for creativity and other commitments.

Cons

  • The ai prompts are something that I just haven't found helpful. content it comes up with is obscure
  • When i copy/ paste from a document, the hashtags disappear and are replaced with the word "hashtag"
  • Sometimes my links will not populate a photo and I have to manually load one

Handling multiple accounts and being able to look back at what was posted and plan ahead has allowed me to be more creative and spend less time logging in and out of accounts. Suggestions from the platform are informative, educational, and have improved engagement rates.

If you are running multiple social accounts, this is the perfect tool. The dashboard and functions are easy to learn and its fun to play around with creating posts. The reminders of national and international celebration days spark the imagination. The way the calendar is laid out allow for maximum clarity and insights.
This would not be as useful to someone running one social account or someone who needs to be constantly logged in and answering comments and questions as I don't know that Hootsuite has that functionality. However, for building content and tracking, it is has completely changed my life for the better.
