Overall Satisfaction with Human Interest
Human Interest has been such a great asset to me and my team. Prior to finding Human Interest, the previous companies we worked with treated us like another number. We had no dedicated account manager and would have to reach out to the support line to get any answers. That didn't feel comforting while investing for our future. Human Interest treats us like a valued customer, no matter how small our team has previously been. They are prompt, caring, insightful and diligent. Can't imagine me or my team will be working with any other full-service 401(k) provider.
Pros
- Communication - they are prompt with every response.
- Due Diligence - they will never give me an answer they aren't certain of. If they aren't sure, they check with their compliance team and get back to me promptly.
Cons
- The only thing that comes to mind is their website layout but no real complaints.
- The time that Human Interest has saved me is the biggest positive ROI I have had. My previous provider was next to no help and we couldn't get ahold of them so if my staff had questions, I had to figure it out. Now I know they are in good hands with the Human-Interest team.
- They have saved me tons of money by keeping me compliant and setting up my plan properly from the start.
- They offer flexible plans with low cost, low expense ratio and great diversity on investment.
Insperity was horrible. Expensive, hidden fees at every corner, not communicative. They messed up my plan and didn't include the requested Safe Harbor provision and I had to pay the piper for their mistake.
Nothing Insperity did was customer first, fiduciary, or even compliant.
I have had the exact opposite experience with Human Interest and they cleaned up Insperity's mess without any complaints and dealt with Insperity dragging their feet on the conversion over a $1k offboarding fee I refused to pay after they screwed up my plan.
