Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cognos

We use Cognos as the primary business intelligence tool to ongoing and ad-hoc reporting. We are however transitioning to another BI tool

We actually selected Cognos, but had to switch to another BI tool due to cost reasons.
Very easy to connect to multiple data sources and views. Also modifying the data sources is easy as well.
Business users can create their own reports using query studio and share those results with others either via PDF or scheduling alerts.
Cognos would be best suited for a large enterprise that can have clear reporting requirements alongside engagement from the end business users. It is a fantastic tool that has most of everything a business user might need. But there is a steep ramp up period.
