Overall Satisfaction with IBM CPQ

IBM CPQ is the backbone tool for pricing, configuration and quotation in our organization. I am not pretty sure it is being used in all units, but it is currently being utilized heavily in IT and procurement departments.
  • By developing, tracking, managing and negotiating the process of sales quotation, it helps in ROI generation.
  • Connecting customers with product catalogs and price lists.
  • Disaster recovery and data backup
  • IBM CPQ only has web-based solution and lacks iOS and Android applications.
  • It has a robust backend integration capability, but it tends to be extremely hectic to collaborate with some SaaS tools.
  • Support and infrastructure: IBM CPQ offers the best and knowledgeable implementation team in case there is no in-house support.
  • Integration: it has a robust integration capability that makes it easy to connect with external applications like salesforce.com services to extend capabilities.
  • Client success manager on the other hand is a key feature that offer post-implementation relations to business users when they ever encounter issues.
  • Ensuring that customers receive their price quotes at right time advances trust while improving good relations.
  • Reporting has enabled the organization to better understand every field so as to locate resources appropriately.
  • Storing all the information in a data governed platform throughout the entire process of price, quote and configure of products and services.
IBM CPQ being hosted in a secured information center, it ensures that customer data is encrypted to never leak to cyber attackers. Also, unlike QuoteWerks, IBM CPQ has robust configure, price and quote features for all sorts of organizations from medium-sized to enterprise companies.
