Content Manager Review
Overall Satisfaction with IBM FileNet Content Manager
It is being used as an electronic filing system for legacy documents. It is used in support of claims departments (invoices and claims forms) and allows for immediate access to legacy content.
Pros
- Security.
- Classification.
- Organization.
- Good encryption.
Cons
- Difficult upgrade path.
- Unfriendly UI.
- Like much of IBM estate, different parts don't work together great.
- Increased compliance.
- Expensive to maintain
- Less time spent managing files.
Not used many others like this. However, the others do seem more lightweight and easier to deploy.
