Overall Satisfaction with IBM FileNet Content Manager
We used IBM FileNet Content Manager to manage the departmental documentations and streamline the workflow related contents. Develope the complete taxonomy in it. We used it also to create document templates, document types, approval and reviewer workflow and automate the contract management ralated processes.

- Develop content oriented workflows

- Integration of Lotus Forms and eForms
- Administration Console GUI need to be improved
- Class Level default permissions need to improved.
- Workplace XT needs to be improved.
- It really streamline the business processes and reduced the overall approval time across the department.
- Search for Document is really accurate and easy to search the specific documents.
- Manage the content is easy
- Also allow to add non documents related objects
- API,s are well structured and documented
- Content Navigator is simple to use
We selected IBM FileNet Content Manager because it is metadata centric product and very easy to use and manage it. Developing the taxonomy structure is really simple and straight forward.
Client application like contant Navigator and workplaceXT are simple to use.
Workflows designer is simple to use and moreover out of box integration with eforms.
