Overall Satisfaction with IBM Storage FlashSystem

Have not come across an open systems nor IBM I series workload that IBM Storage FlashSystem could not handle. Impressive! And its one skillset across all the IBM Storage FlashSystem array variants
IBM Storage FlashSystem has the best price performance open systems storage in the market today. If you take the performance (number of times around the track versus the competition powered by FlashCore Modules (FCM)) Then add in the industries first for inline data corruption detection (FCM V4 tied to Storage Insights Pro) make it the leader without incurring any performance penalties. Then add in the robustness of immutability which comes from SafeGuarded Copy (SGC) for your audit requirements, it even has dual authorization to prevent rogue admins from impacting production data sets. All with a super easy to use User interface make it a must review for all your open systems and IBM I storage requirements.

IBM FlashCore Modules (FCM) have THE lowest latency on the market today. This means our workloads are serviced faster allowing more work to be completed hourly, daily and weekly, etc.
This is across all workloads not just Database, but all block workloads!

IBM Storage FlashSystem is a great fit for IBM I series external storage, just account for the 11% overhead for 520-Byte sectors for the IBM I. Small to medium enterprises are easily supported in the low end FS5200 while mid-range customers are supported via the FS7300.
High end enterprise customers and workloads are a great fit in the FS9500.
The small FS5045 are great for Edge scenarios. I have yet to find a niche for the IBM Storage FlashSystem supporting Internet of Things (IoT) but I continue to look!
