Indeedily Doodly, You're Hired
Overall Satisfaction with Indeed.com
[Indeed.com] is one of the more focused talent finding and job finding solutions to find part time or full time employees. It provides good tools that are effective for job seekers to be alerted to new openings as well as for hiring managers to vet their applicants and find applicants. It works really well for all sides.
Pros
- Focused and easy system
- Clean UI without clutter
- Doesn't feel like you are being oversold to promote postings to people who will not be qualified
Cons
- Repetitive postings across other platforms
- Too many emails
- Sometimes conflicting and confusing overlapping services
- Screener questions
- Easy direct communication
- Making offers
- Shorten timeframe of searching for qualified people
- Sometimes results in duplicate applicants from other platforms
- The quickest way to free up hiring and hr teams from bogged down workflows
- CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking (formerly Luceo) and Monster.com
I believe [Indeed.com] is far beyond the competitors as they are evolved versions of pre-existing hiring models. Indeed seems to focus on what newer cultural process are applicable to hiring rather than replicating the process from what has always been done in the past. I believe Indeed is trying to improve the process for applicants and managers alike.
