Overall Satisfaction with Indeed.com
Indeed.com is used by my current company to primarily recruit for positions such as skilled trades and salary roles. We use it within the HR Department to recruit for any Departments within the plan that have opening such as those listed above.
It is so widely used by many talent pools which helps to reach many candidates.

- Communication - Emails sent when candidates apply and message.
- Ease of Posting - If you have a similar job posting from the past, you can easily use the same format which saves time.
- Feedback - The options in regards to leaving feedback for candidates is great. There are 3 buttons-a check, question mark & X-to help you group candidates based on your initial thoughts. You can also add notes that only you and your team can see. I also like that it has the option for an auto-generated rejection message.
- Curated Candidates - Although I think this was meant to help with candidate grouping, the recent update to add a "curated candidate" button is confusing. It often includes some of the same candidates in the regular list but it is confusing to toggle back and forth between the two.
- Sales - The reps are constantly reaching out asking if we would like to purchase another one of their products. I understand why but it can be frustrating.
- Being able to post several jobs in one place. This helps with organization.
- Being able to have the entire HR team review all postings. If someone is out of the office, someone else can view candidates and job postings.
- Indeed.com has had a positive ROI impact when it comes to salary positions. Although they are budgeted higher, they usually come through with good quality candidates.
- Indeed.com has had a negative ROI impact when it comes to posting hourly positions. There are usually several clicks which brings up the monthly cost but they are typically not qualified candidates.
- Indeed.com has helped successfully fill a number of Engineering positions which saves money on recruiter costs.
