Overall Satisfaction with InEight

We use InEight Estimate for all our pricing work. The program works incredibly well and integrates into our accounting software to help create trackability and the ability to align cost and revenues by bid item. We are considering expanding our use of the InEight suite and the customer service has always been exemplary in dealing with their staff.

Pros

  • Quality estimating software
  • good ability to break down markup strategies
  • aligns costing system with pay items

Cons

  • Connects to ERP system but not smoothly
  • I don't think I can really provide the correct feedback here
We wanted to integrate our estimation software to our ERP system for costing purposes. this was achieved with the Estimate software
we achieved the outcome we wanted but the integration could have been easier and whenever we do updates to the ERP system, we have to rebuild our integration so that prevents it from being higher in the rating.
I think it deploys easy and is taken up and used by all our estimators seamlessly.
it doesn't let me skip the question as directed
InEight Estimate integrated with SAP much easier and the overall GUI was much nicer. easy decision

Yes

Its perfect for standard estimating software that can be integrated into an ERP system. However, the ability to do the integration is clunky and takes a lot of work and maintenance to maintain.
