Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

We use Insightly as an all encompassing CRM for sales and production pipeline management. It allows us to keep all the information in one place and have multiple users get alerts as different actions happen throughout the pipelines.

Pros

  • Automate alerts and emails
  • calendar integration

Cons

  • the task feature can be cumbersome, especially with automating reminders
  • sometimes the coding information is too detailed for a non-tech-literate person
  • Insightly has become an integral part of our sales process and project management. We couldn't operate without it.
  • We have seen less mistakes and errors in our business since our whole team has embraced Insightly
I've found that it can be tricky to understand at first, but once a user becomes familiar with the platform it's fairly intuitive. Sometimes creating custom list views, and reports are hard for users. Especially creating reports is very confusing without instruction
Since we have remote workers and different people doing different tasks all around one project, Insightly has become integral in our business. There wouldn't be a streamlined way for people to get information and see information, as well as refer back to it in the future without Insightly. This was only through lots of work and additional cost of professional services though. Out of the box, I don't think Insightly would do for us what we need it to do.

I think it's decent for housing company and contact information and setting up notifications for prospecting. The pipelines are great for managing projects, but for us, they take a LOT of work to get them customized
