Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

This is our source of truth for all contact information. We worked with so many different people and organizations at different capacities so this helps make sure we all have the more accurate information on the contact and the organization.

Pros

  • Linking Contacts, Opportunities and Organizations
  • Lots of availability to customize
  • import feature is really nice

Cons

  • syning with outlook is a little challenging.. it seems to spin for a while
  • linking emails to contacts is cumbersome. It attaches all pictures (even if its just the linkedin logo for an email)
  • you need the better package for better customization
  • This has helped us eliminate spreadsheets and create one source of accurate information
  • We use this platform to see how board members are engaged and what they donate. This platform really helps us get a good snapshot of the member as a whole
  • We wish we could afford the nicer package so we could do more customizing
Pretty user friendly overall.
This is super helpful for our marketing team because they know their records are staying up to date thanks to all the other team members keeping records up to date.
Blackbaud Raiser's edge is very robust and not as user friendly. Greenlight CRM is fine but doesn't have as many features as Insightly. Insightly seems to be a good inbetween.

For the price this is a good platform. We use it as a non-profit and track board members, donations, prospects etc. We also like Insightly marketing and how they work together. Being able to update contact info in just one place is super helpful.
