Overall Satisfaction with Intellum

We use Intellum across the organization. We use it as a platform for our etraining and to track training and report on training.
  • Learning Paths.
  • Reporting is unreliable and many times has to be scrubbed and manipulated to get information.
  • System updates cause many problems with functions that can't be performed after the update.
  • Reps change often and often have to be "taught" where we have been in the past few years with system difficulty.
  • Changes in the way basic functions work are not always communicated.
  • When service tickets have to be escalated (which is often) there is never an idea of how long it will take to fix the problem--even when you follow up with the rep.
  • We have been able to house eTraining.
  • Reporting is a lengthy process and we can't find out what we need automatically.
  • eTraining landing page is confusing to user because of the way it is set up.
Relias is so much better than Intellum, but Exceed was less expensive when we purchased it. I think they are closer in price now.
Relias really focuses on content and meeting our regulations.
Much easier to use.
Reports are simple.
Intellum's support is up and down. When we first came to Intellum--they were all about customer service. Now the reps change so often it is difficult to remember who you are working with. They want to charge us for any service now.
They used to import trainings from other LMSs. Now they charge for that service.
I have 4 reps in a matter of 2 years.
The service desk tries to be helpful but the staff are ever changing--so I spend a great deal of time explaining how something is done to them.
Exceed can track training but the reporting makes it impossible to get a report.
We have funding agencies who need to see reports with total of hours trained per year.
This could not be done for years--we had to run 2 reports. We finally got a custom report that took a year to develop but it doesn't work all the time. Intellum is unresponsive.
