Overall Satisfaction with InVision Freehand

I kick off all projects using InVision Freehand. I consolidate discovery materials, develop initial thoughts, and discuss with stakeholders in InVision Freehand as the first step in any project. Given the wide variety of data sources we have (slides, spreadsheets, BI tools, SFDC, etc), InVision Freehand is the best way to bring it all together simply and cleanly.
  • Replicating a real whiteboard - the most frictionless of the 3 or 4 whiteboard tools I've tried.
  • Embedding google docs.
  • Presenting - can simply draw boxes around areas of interest on the whiteboard to create a presentation
  • Export to the presentation would be nice - would make it easier to collaborate with teams not yet on InVision Freehand.
  • A few more text formatting options. I do like the lean towards simplicity though so that I don't get distracted and lose my flow
  • Frictionless whiteboarding
  • embedding google docs
  • presentation mode
  • Helps our team move much faster than using any other type of document type
  • Helps us developing compelling narratives and increase decision speed
All products are getting pretty good, but InVision stands out as the most frictionless one to use. A lot of the power is cleverly designed so that it doesn't get in the way of how differently people naturally think and operate. For example, even the presence of a grid on some of the other platforms leads me to overly structure my work.

Do you think Freehand by InVision delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Freehand by InVision's feature set?

Yes

Did Freehand by InVision live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Freehand by InVision go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Freehand by InVision again?

Yes

InVision Freehand is my home base every day. It's like having a gigantic whiteboard on my wall, but better since I don't have to ever erase it and I can drag and drop anything I need (spreadsheets, visualizations, etc). It's also the best way to evolve stream of consciousness thoughts into polished exec presentations.
