Overall Satisfaction with ISL Light

We use ISL Light to remotely install software and monitor our customers' systems. Our customers are located throughout the Netherlands. We can now also quickly assist our technicians who encounter problems at customer sites. Normally, we would have to drive there to solve the problem, but now we can do it remotely.

Pros

  • keeps good logs that we can show to the customer.
  • sharing files is very easy
  • Quickly take control of computers with the ISL always on feature

Cons

  • I don't think the copy and paste function is working.
  • It would be nice to see a summary after disconnecting.
  • Being able to quickly deactivate the customer's mouse so that it cannot be used.
  • We can now help our customers within minutes. Sending a technician could take hours or even days.
  • We can immediately help customers who are stuck and unable to refuel so that they can continue their journey.
  • We can now quickly resolve warranty cases, so that it hardly costs us any money.
Everything works well and quickly, and that's all we need. ISL Light always works, and we've never had a situation where the server was inaccessible or the website was down. It simply gives us a 100% guarantee that we can always log in to our customers' systems. We can install the ISL Light client at our customers' sites without any problems, even though security is high.
We have never had any problems with security, nor have we received any complaints from our customers. Sometimes we also need to log in to government agencies, but we have never had any problems opening the software there either. Another nice feature is that we regularly receive an email with a code that we need to enter into the program.
We don't have much experience in this area. We'd rather leave it to the people who do know about it... that means you :)
Fortunately, we have never had to contact technical support, which is a good sign. Of course, it is very easy to find everything online or on the website itself. Everything is very easy to find in the program, so we don't really need any help. It's also nice that everything is available in Dutch.
For us, it was mainly the cost that made the difference. TeamViewer is simply very expensive and offers no added value compared to ISL Light. Installing the software on a server also went more smoothly. Where this was not possible with TeamViewer at the time, it worked perfectly with ISL Light.

It is very easy to quickly set up a connection to the customer. Just click on the link on our website and within a few seconds we can operate the PC. We can then quickly help the customer and install software. What their IT department takes a few hours to do, we can arrange in 30 minutes.
