Overall Satisfaction with ISL Light

We're a B2B software business and we use ISL Light to support our customers. We use it primarily for desktop sharing when we're trying to help a customer use our software or to solve a problem.

Pros

  • Ease of connection
  • Speed of desktop sharing
  • No need for software installation

Cons

  • Genuinely can't think of any improvements. The addition of being able to use ACME SSL certificates was greatly received
  • Being able to connect to customers easily and quickly (without onerous involvement from their IT teams) is invaluable to us to offer a high level of support to our customers
  • We self-host ISL Light and the annual cost is very competetive compared to most other remote support tools
It's very simple to use! No training required for our desktop operators. Talking a customer through connecting to a session for the first time is also no hassle at all.

Barely have to contact the technical support, but on the odd occasion I have (via email or online chat) it's been very quick and I've dealt with knowledgeable people who can answer my question first time.
ISL is considerably more cost effective for us, partly because we've opted to self-host it. Not many other providers offer this approach.

ISL Light offers a very quick, platform agnostic, installation-free method of being able to connect to our customers' desktop computers and offer them support. The cost is attractive and the performance/ reliability is excellent.
