Overall Satisfaction with ISL Light
ISL online gives us Remote access to businesses, in a hurry or to remote to travel onsite. We used to use TeamViewer but when they jacked to price up 3 fold when COVID started in 2020 we looked elsewhere. There are a lot of remote access software offerings out there but, it seamed that they were owned or being controlled by a few of the larger owned remote access organisations.
we have been using ISLONLINE for 6 years now, we almost changed to another company when they were brought out, as the service and speed slowed down to almost dial up speed, but I gave the new company a couple of moths to sort themselves out. No it’s back to the same as before they sold the company.

- When changing from dual screen 1 to dual screen 2, they could have it showing what screen you are on, I don’t seem to see that anywhere so when I click on a dual screen at the top, it’s a guess if it will be the left or right screen you are clicking on.
- iPad/iPhone remote access (not just a viewer) would be great, I know apple is the problem here but, you never know there could be a work around.
- More secure than using teamviewer
- Way cheaper than teamviewer
- But team viewer is better at file transfer
Yes, there security is way better than TeamViewer.
Support needs big improvements, as most times that I’ve tried to contact them they have been unavailable. Luckily there is Google to the rescue.

The main reason was price initially, after TeamViewer jacked up the price 3 fold come covid in start of 2020, told them to get stuffed and went elsewhere, back then they had a good reliable product, then after I switched to another provider, the came crawling back and offer me the same price I was paying before the COVID tax (3 times increase in price) like I said, told them to get stuffed, ISL on the other hand didn’t increase their price when covid started, so have been with them ever since.
