Overall Satisfaction with Iterable
Iterable is our main email platform. We use it to send blast campaigns, set up automated/triggered campaigns, and build workflows triggered by API, website events & user profile updates. We also use it as a mini-CRM to hold demographic, geographic, and behavioural user data to build a holistic view of our users and owned audience
Pros
- Integrations with data warehouses, such as Snowflake
- Easy to set up & build templates & campaigns
- Workflows are easy to build
Cons
- Workflow reporting
- Dynamic reporting
- Deliverability reporting
- Increased customer retention
- Increased personalization
- Cost has increased with our owned audience
We only use Iterable to send emails, but automating these campaigns is easy once custom events have been set up to capture key website or app behaviours and push essential data through to Iterable. Handlebars is a powerful language for personalization, and now Iterable has rolled out handlebars helpers within the platform, even users with little knowledge of it can build advanced personalization features
Iterable is great at capturing and storing data for later use. It could be enhanced by enabling end users to reuse custom events that have been pushed to Iterable in the past, rather than having to store that data on the user's profile. However, Iterable allows most - if not all - data stored on a user's profile to be used to trigger campaigns or workflows, filter users in or out of workflows, and personalize the types of emails users receive at any point in their customer journey. This has helped us level up our customer experience
