When it comes to the software/ tool functionality, in Iterable we can easily customize our comms to ensure that the user or the receiver will not receive any boring or the same content every day as we are sending different comms every day. (SMS, email, and in-app push notifications).

Iterable has made it very easy to contact users through the marketing funnel. We use multichannel campaigns to market to customers - primarily email and SMS. We make strategic decisions based on the performance of each channel, and we're able reach more people and make a great impact in our communication. For example, some specific promotions are better with SMS but adversely, other promotions work better with email. Also, some customers prefer SMS vs email which helps create a better customer experience.

Iterable is great at handling data sets but more so, the workflow tools allow for really dynamic usage of that data to create a wide variety of campaigns to help improve customer experience, retention and ultimately LTV. Leveraging single fields in some cases in the event or on a customer profile to totally change a message or pick the right time to deploy are essential.

Dynamic lists here can change your life. It gives you the power to be ultra granular if needed, or to cast a wide net that won't be full of waste. We use these features to segment our lists based on frequency of opens, clicks, which offers they've interacted with, how new they are, how long it's been since their last open, and so much more. We even use category ids in our links now to build niche lists that are topical so that we can pair new offers with hot, warmed up audiences. These all work together to help us drastically improve our RPMs across our various channels, while adding in some friendly competition that keeps all of our departments working at top performance. It's been a lot of fun. And you always find new ways you can kick things up a notch.

Iterable provides multiple ways to gather and store data about our users, whether it's through APIs, webhooks, syncs via other tools, manual uploads, etc. This allows us to have hyper-personalized messages and design our experiments for maximum efficiency. It is easy to look up customers via their email or user ID and get a quick snapshot of what type of user they are via their Iterable profile.

With Iterable, I am able to put the customers' preferences first by partnering and integrating with Digioh, which allows us to create and manage our own manage, preferences form, where we can get information from the customer and save it to their user profile, we can also utilize journeys to send to customers based on their engagement through the channels and timing that is best for the individual instead of sending out a blast to everyone with the same contact through the same channel at the same time.

Iterable has allowed us to effectively communicate with all our customers through data. With Iterable's API directly integrated in our system, we are able to connect thousands of data points to the user. With this data, we're able to create very highly targeted campaigns and journeys. My organization has used other email platforms in the past. Even during warmup and not being fully launched, we are able to contact customers in more ways than any of the other platforms allowed us to. We have been able to launch campaigns during warmup that have helped with customer retention.

Iterable has made it much simpler to contact users wherever they are in the marketing funner. We've been able to implement push campaigns, emails, and SMS campaigns all triggered by custom member workflows that didn't take any engineering time to develop.

We are maintaining different types of contact data in Iterable by creating different custom objects/fields. Iterable allows you to include various types of content in the messages you send to your users:
  • Templates are the blueprints for messages sent with Iterable. They can be as sophisticated as necessary, including static text and HTML, Handlebars logic, personalization, and references to data feeds.
  • Snippets allow you to reuse content across templates.
  • Catalogs allow you to store data in Iterable and query it at send time to customize a campaign's message for each of its recipients.
  • Data Feeds fetch data from external systems and use it to personalize a campaign while it is being sent.

The segmentation tool within Iterable ensures that we are able to contact the right customers at the right time. The customer profiles are able to break down customer data in a way that is very specific to our business and industry, as well as track customer events in a way that helps us contact them at the right time.

We haven't yet leveraged Iterable's cross channel capabilities fully yet. We use our CDP to achieve the same. For instance, we integrated Iterable with CDP which is also integrated with Facebook and Google Ads, that facilitate our cross channel marketing initiatives.

Automation is still limited to the scope we want to achieve but it has allowed us to discover Iterable's platform capabilities and our own!

We have created a number of data fields that connected to Iterable have allowed us to reach out to users with the right message at the right time and the results show an incredible uplift in engagement, which is precisely what we look for in automated journeys.

We are currently using it across all of our customer's journeys, even for transactional use cases; the first impact is having into one single platform all communications sent to a single user; this improves our visibility and helps us understand the more effective ways to reach our users.
